High salaries for MPs lead to high politics. That’s why I want to cap my salary in parliament at the level of skilled workers’ wages. I will pass on anything above that to workers and families who need concrete support. I would also like to use my resources to hold regular social consultation hours to offer people advice and help.
Our state government and parliament are often disconnected from our reality. They have no idea about people’s concerns. But we want to focus on them! That is why we will be holding thousands of door-to-door discussions and asking you questions as part of the election campaign. Your concerns will be presented at a public district meeting on June 22, 2024. This is how we will decide together which demands I will take into the state election campaign.
If we join forces, they can no longer ignore us! That’s why I want to support struggles and initiatives outside parliament and, above all, fight together with trade union activists for a better life for all.
With this candidacy, we want to put a spoke in the wheel of the right. I want to be the first person of color to enter the Saxon state parliament so that they can no longer play us off against each other and distract us from the real problems!
