Strengthening the neighborhood: The Left Party invites you to the summer party in the Rabet district park

Under the motto “Never alone, always together”, direct candidate Nam Duy Nguyen of the Left Party invites you to the summer party on August 17 in the Rabet district park. The party starts at 4 p.m. and offers the opportunity to get together in a relaxed atmosphere until the evening.
“Knowing your neighbors is no longer a matter of course these days. That’s why we want to give people in the neighborhood the opportunity to get to know each other and have a great day together,” explains Nam Duy Nguyen, direct candidate for the Leipzig 1 constituency, which includes the Rabet district park. To make this happen, there will be a wide variety of treats, drinks and music from local artists.
Nam Duy Nguyen has been running a committed door-to-door campaign since April, during which he and his team have already rung more than 40,000 doors in the constituency. He wants to use the district festival as another opportunity to talk to citizens about their questions and concerns. Nguyen emphasizes: “It is important to me to talk to people and hear their perspectives. This is the only way I can best represent their interests in the state parliament.” He would like to establish the district festival as a regular meeting if he is elected to the state parliament.
The Left Party also uses the summer party to thank all supporters of the election campaign. “Without the commitment and solidarity of our helpers, our political work would not be possible. This party is also a sign of our gratitude,” continued Nguyen.
Nguyen is 28 years old, born in Riesa and the child of Vietnamese contract workers. He wants to do politics differently and is breaking new ground. Since mid-April, he and his team have been holding door-to-door talks with residents of the constituency. They have been collecting topics and concerns that Nam Duy Nguyen will take to the state parliament if he is elected. All interested citizens are cordially invited to attend.
